Every once in a while I go to Style.com and browse the latest collections. I just click random designers until I see something that appeals to me. Today I came upon Antonio Berardi's Resort 2013 collection and I love it! It clearly appeals to my neon love but in a focused way. What I loved most is that these looks could be put together at home with little effort if you have the right pieces. Fashion allows you to interpret things your own way. These blue trousers are a fun way to try the first look without having to "go out there" so much. Top them with a simple button up blouse and a shoe that doesn't compete with the colors. In the work place, since the pants are making the statement keep everything else as supporting actors. The second look is elevated by the clean slate of the white. You can have fun with the top and don't have to worry too much about being too "loud" because the white levels things out. A structured skirt well tailored to your shape will get you so far! It's a no nonsense easy to slip on piece that could go from casual with a chambray shirt to formal with an intricately beaded or sequined top. The third look balances sexy and sophisticated very well. The key to this look is a low-key print (meaning non-clashing colors and or patterns that compete) and a hemline length that is respectable. Some times when we think sexy we automatically think short, but a curve hugging dress in a moderate length can be very alluring!
