During my daily browsing of blogs I often check one of my favorite shoe sites, Solestruck. What I love about Solestruck is the fact that they are a extremely open company. They don't care if you are white, black, purple, lesbian, gay, transgendered, or a man who just wants a little extra height from his sneaker. That's a company I can stand behind and I have bought plenty of shoes from them. The first thing about this shoe that could my eye was it's nod to my beloved Isabel Marant sneakers. My first thought was, "Awesome! If I had a boo he'd get these"! Then I noticed that there is a 4 inch hidden platform in them much like the Marant's. I paused for a while and then decided I'm all for it. Before you look at me like I'm crazy, let me explain. Would I be a little baffled if I looked in my man's shoes and saw a platform, yes. But how many times have you thought, "Dang! If he were only 4 inches taller!"? And I have a pair (mentioned here) and you can't even tell it has a heel by looking at it. Not a valid argument?
