Dream Wardrobe.

I have been doing laundry for weeks. Not nonstop, but that's only because I've let the piles (or bins) grow and grow. It's ridiculous. What's even more ridiculous, is that 85% of the clothes, I've had since high school. I graduated five years ago but I wore some of my clothes during school with some jeans, no lie, from 8th grade. Yeah. That means that most of my clothes could easily be going on 9 years old. None of which are quality pieces. It's time to let that shiz go.

When I got my "big girl" job, my mom help me put together a nice corporate wardrobe. Suits, button ups, scarves, dresses the works. You've seen some glimpses of those pieces in the past. You also may remember the post where I got fed up with suits. The thing is, I'm a trend analyst, so suits don't necessarily fit into what my image should be. So, I created my dream wardrobe. But not just for work. I wanted to find pieces that could work for work but could also be nice for outings, club (Marketing Associations and such) meetings, the Blogshop workshop that is on my 24 before 25 list, etc. It's time to let most of my clothes go. My thought is that I'll purge everything that wasn't bought by my mom for work and a few other things (like thrifted pieces) and a few other favorites. I'm about to be 23 and while that is still considerably young, I want to look well presentable to match my dreams. I want to look so good, that if I happen to be in the elevator with an investor one day he'll stop, ask me my dreams, and agree to invest right on the spot. It could happen. Without further ado, my dream wardrobe:

The pieces with yellowish dots are the foundation. I included ways that I could remix these pieces into different outfits. Also, for those of you who have been thinking about remixing this my be a help to figure out what it's all about. Also, I'm going to pitch this wardrobe to my mom, so showing I would get her moneys worth was important! But even if she shuts me down, I'm going to start building this wardrobe myself one piece at a time and that's okay. All bases are covered. No tattoos showing. Flats, booties, wedges. Most everything is from Topshop. The leopard flats are from Solestruck, wedges from Bakers, dress from Asos.
